Can You Have Fitness Goals Without Getting Obsessed With Body Image?

For so many of us, it’s all too easy to become absolutely obsessed with fitness goals. It starts with a simple desire: to feel more energy, to eat better, to move your body in a new and fun way. But then starts the researching, the scheduling, and rigid planning.

Before you know it, you’re saying no to fun things out of fear that they will diminish your “hard work” in the gym. You feel yourself getting anxious before events. You notice a war zone going on in your head, where no place is safe.

Everywhere is a battlefield; situations are always looking to throw you off your perfectly planned fitness regime.

So is it possible to avoid all of this? Is it possible to have fitness goals without getting obsessed with body image?
