2017 Holiday Gift Guide

‘Tis the season for all of the things. Lovely things, little things, funny things, significant things, useless things. Since I’ve become a minimalist over the past several years, I give in the same way I want to receive: with intention. I love receiving heart-felt gifts (either made or bought) and as such, I want to ensure that the people in my life feel that they receive items with the same love.I haven’t done a Holiday Gift Guide on my blog for a few years, so I thought it was time to bring it back. Here are a few things I’m crushing on this Christmas of 2017:

1. Sankalpa

"Sankalpa means your "heart's deepest desire" in Sanskrit..it's the practice of coming back home to your heart and living from this place." My girl Victoria Blair, here in Boulder, makes intention-filled minimalistic jewelry that I'm obsessed with. You create an intention. Knot the necklace in place. Wear it until it falls off in 8-12 months. The necklace serves as a reminder for the intention you are creating in your life and when it falls off, your intention has been fully integrated into your life. (I currently have one on my neck you can see in all my Instagram stories)

2. Adaptogenic Elixirs

Detoxify your liver, nourish your gut health, sleep better, think clearer, heighten your awareness, strengthen your immunity and find your Feminine Flow with these adaptogenic elixirs made by Erika Elizabeth. These blends are made in small batches, each one filled with integrity and nourishment. Erika Elizabeth is a Registered Holistic Nutritionist, Intuitive Eating Specialist, and practitioner of Vedic Meditation, with additional certifications in Mindfulness Functional Medicine. She knows what she's doin' and these elixirs are sure to make someone in your life very, very blissed out.

3. Outdoor Voices Running Sweats

Soooo, I get that sweatpants might not seem like the most "intentional" present, but these are NEXT LEVEL comfy. Anyone would be lucky to be have these magical cloud-like pants, for real.

4. Felix Gray Blue Light Blocking Glasses

Know someone always at their computer? These glasses block harmful blue lights from damaging your eyes and they make great presents for either guys or gals. You can wear them if you already have perfect vision, but you can also get them with a reading prescription.

5. Tina Marie Elena Art

Want something a little spicier? Have a sensual goddess in your life that would love some new artwork for her bedroom? I am obsessed with Tina Marie Elena these days and all of her juicy artistry. I highly recommend you snag a piece for your boo, bestie or for your own gorgeous self. 💕

6. Intuitive Astrology Sessions

What a unique gift this would be! Get your bestie/mom/dad/partner in shine an Intuitive Astrology Season with my girl Virginia Rosenberg. She'll dive deep into natal charts, planet alignment, love, health and relationships. If you want to learn more about the work she does, listen to the interview I did with her HERE on the Mind Body Musings Podcast.

7. This Palo Santo Candle

Love the smell of palo santo? Me too. And as much as I love the ritual of cleansing my apartment with actual palo santo wood, it's pretty rad to have the smell going all day long if I so choose.

8. Tortuga Travel Pack

When I travel abroad, the only bag I take is my Tortuga. It's seriously a magic bag. Somehow I manage to pack months worth of clothing in it (even when it's winter) and yet it's still carry-on size. If you have a wanderlusting soul in your life, these bags are durable and will last forever if you take care of them.

9. Winter Jewels Eye Palette

Free from 1,400 chemicals and parabens, Beautycounter is making skincare safer. Every holiday and season, they release exclusive products so I recommend you grab this particular one pronto before it's out of stock! If you have a make-up/beauty lover in your life, anything by Beautycounter will make the perfect prezzie. (check out why I love them so much here

10. The Self-Journal

We're approaching a new year, which means everyone is getting geared up for a fresh start (aka new goals). The Self Journal makes an amazing present for anyone because it's made to empower and support you in creating new habits/patterns. Get clear on your goals, dreams and desires for 2018!Hope you enjoyed my 2017 Holiday Gift Guide. Do me a favor and let me know if you were inspired from this post and bought any of the above items as presents! I would love to know. Happy Holidays. 🌲 [Tweet "Looking for a unique and intentional present for the #holidays this year? Here are 10 ideas..."]
